InvestmentMarkets is a fintech marketplace platform which seeks to be the 'investment central' for self-directed investors, providing them with access to the widest range of investment opportunities, all in one place.
The business originated due to the frustrations and delays the founders experienced with the traditional capital-raising process. They had a vision of building a digital meeting ground where all kinds of product issuers could come together, tell their story, and directly explain the value of their investment propositions to an engaged audience of investors. No middlemen.
After successful funding rounds, there are now around 20 equity investors in the business, including fintech venture capital funds, sophisticated investors, and a number of high-profile industry participants.
The platform has continuously evolved and now has a highly engaged audience of independent investors who benefit from carefully curated content and events, and the ability to easily find, view, and select from 100s of different investment opportunities across various asset classes, sectors, liquidities, and objectives.
